On another broadcasting note: Dick Endberg is starting to learn how to handle Mark Grant, mostly by sort of busting his balls which is funny. MudCat told his theory on the perfect situation for them to catch a foul ball during a game -- which involved the perfect pitch and batter -- and Dick responded with a well-timed **yawn**. I liked that.
Also if you watch Saturday's game, you can see Jerry's Kids contributer Lil' Kevin ducking under the flying bat that went over the visitor's dugout late in the game! Nice seats can't buy you guts I suppose.

I still don't like enburg. I used to laugh every night when watching the game. Not only is dick boring but he brings down MudCats humor. Thats just my opinion though. You can't deny that his old ass F's up at least 3 times a night though. When helton smashed a single into left field off of a 95 mph bell fastball he thought it was a curve haha.

ReplyDeleteyeah of course it's bad, and we grew up with THE MAN HISSELF JERRY COLEMAN so it's hard. but here's the thing: Dicky E's doing that stuff a lot LESS. Last year was literally a mute button year, all year. All around, terrible. This year he's fuckin around with Mark more and not letting there be total dead space after a joke like last year, i'll take something not funny over nothing. And he's blowing calls at a high portion, but nothing compared to last year, 2010 was pathetic, and i like that he's getting better. So yeah, no homo but the Chan4 crew is growing on me.
